Hello, I have an old alarm, optima xm. The battery was very old/US, and power was removed from the panel for over 5 hours. When trying to power back up with the new battery/mains the panel goes into alarm mode and will not respond to any key pad actions. Tried 9999 engineer etc...

I think its a Y system as there is diverter valve (solenoid operated) below tank. Funnily enough its now working. Thanks again, any ideas ?

Not sure but I will ask. The valve was fitted just below the new sink in the kitchen. Thank you for replying, and I'll get back to you.
