    More inhibitor?

Yes it degrades over time. Test strips are available to assess the quality/quantity of inhibitor in the system. No, it doesn't usually need to be added every year.

Have you just switched off the switch on the sockets downstairs or have you physically removed every plug from every socket? If not done yet unplug every appliance from every socket downstairs and see if the circuit can be switched on with nothing plugged in.

Does your proposed system provide hot water or only space heating?

    OV to sealed system

This could be creating an unvented hot water system? It isn't clear to me. I would just urge caution, especially with the complete lack of knowledge that the OP has demonstrated.

    OV to sealed system

Are you allowed to convert an open vented system to a (potentially explosive) sealed system in your country? I don't think that this would be permitted as a DIY project in the UK.

Added a spur, think i've made a mistake!

Hopefully also the same with the earth wire so that there are now 3 earths together? What about the other end of the cable, at your new socket, are you certain that this is connected correctly? L, N and E all in the correct place?

Rockdoor reviews should I be worried

Do you know what those tolerances are? It might be OK on the dark side of the house, but when I look around at black, blue or red doors that are a few years old they all seem to have changed colour, usually in an uneven and very obvious way.

    Tile layout thoughts?

I think that you get a better result if you move the tiles towards the front door by a half tile. I think that this will get rid of the thin strips on rows G, I and M.

Rockdoor reviews should I be worried

Your uPVC door was presumably white and reflected a lot of the heat away. A black door will soak up the heat which will encourage it it warp or split, it will also turn into a grey door in a few years as uv radiation affects the colour.

Composite Door - Dropped On One Side

As the gap on the hinge side looks even it seems probable that the frame is not square. Do you have a large square to check it? Alternatively measure the frame diagonals to see if they are equal. It appears to me that the bottom of the frame needs lifting on the hinge side to allow the frame to...
