You are assuming I lost it when in fact the TV was given to us by a friend with no manual. BTW - there is nothing in the manual about resetting the tv. I just had a look online.

Charming. Couldn't you have just said "have you got a manual ?" To which I would reply "sorry, I don't have one" Nevermind. I will get help elsewhere.

Sorry but I have no idea about doing a factory reset. The other thing I find strange is the screen has never said HD ready all the time I have used it yet this model is def a HD looking online.

For the life of me I cannot get my Sony KDL-32U3000 hd tv to detect signals from my DVD surround system and my Humax 2000T. When I select a HD channel from the Humax I get the message "the programme cannot be viewed via HDMI connection because your tv does not support digital content...

I also read this on an advice site: Objects trapped in between the outer tub and drum can also be the cause of noise, things like bra wires are extremely common to be retrieved from around the heater between the drum and they can cause damage to the machine and any clothing in it.

Took it off, looked and felt inside and nothing. What I can't understand is why it isn't making a noise when I turn the drum. Put it all back together :(

I got to this via taking the back off , not from underneath. Can I also turn the machine on it's side to make it easier to get to ?

My wife reported a missing bra wire a couple of weeks ago. We checked the filter and the drum but found nothing. Today the washer started making a horrible metallic scraping sound. We stopped it, rotated the drum which was smooth with no noise. Nothing in the filter either. It's a Hoover...

I am still not sure what to do about this as two of the dials just will not turn. It don't know weather to get an electrician or a gas engineer ? Also, as it's an Ariston hob I am not sure I will be able to get replacements for it.
