    Tightening kitchen mixer tap

I am trying to tighten a B&Q monobloc tap fitted about 3 or 4 years ago. Its not the usual arrangement where you can just tighten a locking nut over a securing plate but has a nut built into the securing plate meaning that you turn the whole thing - but obviously you cant do that with the...

Worcester Bosch R35 HE Plus Combi - Flow Rate

Hi Mick - have had a look and I cant work what its set to. Also I can adjust it (anticlockwise) to increase the flow rate but how do I tell if the boiler is modulating? Not too much of an issue as I can always call out Worcester Bosch as I'm paying for a service plan and get them to do it.

Worcester Bosch R35 HE Plus Combi - Flow Rate

Hi 'FlyingFish' No I haven't as I have boiler serviced yearly and have assumed that this would have been set to an optimum level? Also if I increase this isn't temperature likely to reduce? I had assumed that when we moved here 7 years ago from a traditional boiler and hot water tank that I...

Worcester Bosch R35 HE Plus Combi - Flow Rate

Hello Dan, no I'm saying that as the boiler is set at the moment I'm only getting 7 l/m. The HW stat on the boiler is set just below the 'dot' so as I understand the range to be between 40 and 60 degrees its probably set to 55 degrees. I'm guessing the incoming water temperature to be 5...

Worcester Bosch R35 HE Plus Combi - Flow Rate

I have the above boiler and am getting a flow rate (measured from 2 different taps) of just over 7 litres / minute. The quoted flow rate (with a 35 degree rise) is 14.6 litres / minute. I realise with outside temperatures (and therefore water input temp) low that I wont get 14.6 l/m but should...

Texecom Premier Elite 48 - alarm not triggering when set to an area

One other question if you part set at Nightime is there anyway of reducing the time for alarm to set - or is it controlled by the Exit Delay Time. I see that you can set a 'Part Set Instant' but that would presumably trigger alarm as the hall sensor would 'see me' setting the alarm?

Texecom Premier Elite 48 - alarm not triggering when set to an area

jdp80 - I just checked the Expanders on Wintex and only Expander Area A was ticked - I guess that was the issue? - as I am now going to use part set instead then I wont pursue this but at least I now know why it wasn't working

Thanks jdp80 - - I checked both of those and they were enabled - so that wasn't the issue - still not sure why it wasn't working

Texecom Premier Elite 48 - alarm not triggering when set to an area

Thanks for that - If I want a garage only for part arm 2, presumably I omit everything but the garage?

Texecom Premier Elite 48 - alarm not triggering when set to an area

Hi HandymanJo - I am using Wintex and have all devices in area A and all but the landing and hall in area B. So in Wintex when I get the 'Zones and Attributes' page up: for everything but the hall and landing, Areas A and B are ticked and C and D are not ticked. For the hall and landing only...

Texecom Premier Elite 48 - alarm not triggering when set to an area

I am hoping someone can help - suspect this is down to my setup. I have installed a Texecom premier Elite and all has been working fine - or so I thought.... When I leave the house use the code and arm it all works well and the system alarms properly. I also set up a nightime area so that all...

Texecom Premier Elite - no alarm indication on App.....

Cant help you there as I don't know anything more than whats on the website. Looks like the hub will connect (through Com IP or Com Wifi) with your local network and then allow two way comms to a new app. Seems like you can set up a daily calendar to turn on lights if system is armed and its...
