Standing water in toilet waste pipe

The gradient of the pipe is pretty much bang on level. Would this be a problem?

Standing water in toilet waste pipe

I had a peek into my 110m toilet waste pipe under the floor boards from a boss entry. There is standing water inside (maybe about 20% capacity of the pipe). Is this normal or does it suggest incorrect gradient or blockage?

    combi boiler condensate pipe

Are there any issues with a boiler condensate pipe being installed almost exactly vertically downwards from the boiler to the waste pipe? The current installation has a 90 degrees bend quite close to the boiler before dropping down but I need to reroute it.

    Floorboards wood protection

Just to confirm, we are talking about the floorboards which go over joists? I need to replace a missing/damaged section.

    22mm or 15mm

Let’s say I will be installing a thermostatic rain shower where the red pipe is. Would it make any positive difference to the pressure or flow if I ran a 22mm pipe from my combi boiler above down to the level of the shower? The pipe will then tee off to toilet/sink/kitchen.

    JG Speedfit

It is a void between a non external brick wall and cement board which was mounted onto battens. My plumber was happy to run a gas pipe down there!

    JG Speedfit

Thank you. And if I go for the 3m straight version, would it be okay behind a wall for about 1.8m without any intermediate wall clips? I would use copper but my loft ceiling not high enough to feed it down so need a tiny bit of flex in the pipe to get it down. I will clip at both ends.

    JG Speedfit

Can you use copper compression fittings on JG speedfit?

    Crack in joist

Is a crack in an old joist a concern? I would like to build a stud wall below this end joist to leave a void behind for soundproofing/services.

    Blanking nut for stopcock

The 22mm worked in the end. I am blanking it off because this pipe is connected to the two flats below and want my own feed from the loft separate to theirs. I will remove the entire pipe section once i get the bath off, and the main pipe has a convenient tee to which I can just put a cap...

    Blanking nut for stopcock

A 3/4 inch blanking nut doesn’t fit this ancient stop cock. Would a 22mm one most likely work?
