floi99 i presume pipes are inside stud wall you could locate pipe run approx then minor hole trough plasterboard & squirt expanding foam every 800mm approx when it expands & sets will hold pipes from flexing

grommett that is the correct way to install for the layout as you mentioned a a valve not always necessary but easier to fit now rather than later
