Thanks chaps. I have also noticed that if I turn on the COLD tap full-bore (without the hot being on), when I then turn it off the diverter valve pin comes out briefly and then goes back in. Any suggestions as to how to diagnose the problem?

Hi All, Can anyone confirm if the following is normal operation for a Baxi Combi 80e please? When I run the hot tap the DHW circuit works as expected, but if I also run the cold tap at the same time the diverter valve pin goes in and off goes the DHW. is that normal/correct? Thanks

Sorted :D Although I had bled it on DHW, it needed doing on CH too. Once this was done it seems to be running fine.

I've had to change the pump on my Baxi 80e and have replaced a UPS15-60 130 with a new UPS2 15-50/60 130. The pump appears to run, but I get a "Fault on Pump or Low System Pressure" LED flashing after a few seconds and no ignition. I refilled the boiler to 2 bar, bled the pump and it isn't...

I took the PCB back to the supplier and he replaced it. Fitted the (new) new one, reset it after the two lamps started flashing and now DHW and CH working fine. Still need to get it checked over after removing and re-fitting the combustion chamber cover, but apart from that, all good...
