    One of the builders has now been round, he mentioned that a strutural engineer may advise to bring the whole thing down but it is not necessary, the walls are solid, for piece of mind maybe add gallows brackets to the top and bottom then make good. the other builders due round about 5:30

    the cracks on the outside of the house do not seem any larger then when I moved here around 8years ago. As I say the interior was covered in pvc cladding and only just uncovered this. Can you recomend anyone that covers the essex area who could pop round for a proper look maybe?

    the cracks run from the ceilings to the floor, about 3/4" at the top and about 1/4" at the bottom. will post photos in a mo. Will try to get better photos when i get home from work. Where the roof joins the walls in the extension it dont look very "finished" either top left joining to house...
