I have just felted a garage roof, however, one edge is so close to a fence that there is no space to enable me to tack the felt around the edge. If I could glue it, that would be ideal. Does impact/contact adhesive work on roofing felt or can anyone suggest anything else?

What is the best way to finish the felt at the edges of a peaked 18mm OSB roof? I was going to bend it round the edges and tack it under the board but I am wary of the felt cracking. Also, what do I do at the corners? Is it best to do them parcel style and tack down the resulting flap?
