Ditto Chris, its only my experience, but i have had similar problems in the past, with Worcesters, esp CDI range. The wiring looms , especially were they join the connectors , suffer from dry joints. I know its a pain, test every wire back, for continuity. ( not teaching you to suck eggs ...

Can you here water entering the boiler!! If so , as already said its a blocked pressure gauge , or the actual needle is stuck , try flicking the gauge with your finger. Dave.

Could be be one the suggestions pointed out above ,,, although this boiler and others, in the range, with the same type of integral filling loop, suffer from a common fault ,, IE is the grey plastic knob actually opening the valve, or just riding over the worn spindle,, check this out . Good...

Good evening chaps, Any info/ help would be really appreciated. Initial problem, was no / or intermittent H/W, so first things first, rectification problem,, sorted that one out. Still boiler fires for a short while then goes out ,,, fan ok, APS, ok, gas valve ok, pump and impeller...

Just to add, totally agree with croydoncorgi, if you do get round to removing the D / Valve at the back is or should be a small inlet water filter. Although it could be blocked but i very much doubt it. Reason been, water authority down here have been changing water meters and its caused...

As previous posters have said, there is not much to the filling loop itself. As you look at the filling loop, the right hand side joins directly to the diverter valve, via a O ring seal. The diverter valve could be blocked, the other end connects , if i remember to the flow side of the...

Worcesters, are generally very reliable boilers, especially the CDI range. Yes if you have a rapid flash , this would indicate a possible fault with either the flue, and or , the PCB, although there is more than just the flue. It could be a fault with the APS, or the tubes connected to the...

This is purely based on my experience, Turbo Max, and of late, the Echo Max have a nasty habit of failing in either C/H mode or H/W mode. Genrally, if you have absolute nothing, then 90% f the time, yes the boards dead. In answer to you question, yes i would say the board is at fault, but...
