Retaining Clip for kitchen units plinth

Thanks, I bought the plinth clips before your reply and also went bk to screwfix for Keku clips. Plinth clips were a waste of money, Keku clips seem good. Thanks

Retaining Clip for kitchen units plinth

I know this is an old post but I wanted to ask a question about the plinth clips in the screwfix link at the top. If I use these, how do they unclip to remove? I'm actually intending to use them to create an access panel to get to the stop tap in my kitchen. Thanks in advance.

    Hob wiring advice

Thanks for all the advice. One last thing, is It acceptable for the hob and oven to be wired straight into the 50amp cooker switch? Assuming I can fit the cables into the back box.

    Hob wiring advice

I can't find the model number right now but just seen a diagram on the underneath side. Looks like two of the cables are terminated as live and one as neutral when running at 240v and If running at 400v the two lives look to be running separately - from what I can understand from the diagram.

    Hob wiring advice

Hi there I've just bought a new zanussi ceramic hob to replace my old one which was wired into the cooker/oven switch. Upon opening the new hob I have found it has 3 core and Earth flex - brown, black, blue and Earth. Please could some one advise me how this should be terminated in the cooker...

    Cooker hood/cooker extractor fan

Ha, thanks guys, I worked it out a 0.91 amps but doubted myself when the ao customer services stated 13amps and why Zanussi say 10 god knows. I guess a plug rather than an FCU would be the best option to unplug and replace when it's clogged with grease. Many thanks for the reassurance.

    Cooker hood/cooker extractor fan

Hi all I've just purchased a cooker hood (Zanussi ZHC6234X_SS) from ao.com to replace my aged and grease ridden integrated extractor. My old extractor was plugged into a socket hidden above itself. I assumed my new cooker hood would screw onto the wall and I'd utilise the socket (which is on...

    Supporting sleepers

I'm sure you've done this project now, but thought I'd upload pics of a similar project I've just completed. I used 4ft 4x4 posts concreted into groun. I also dug a hole inbetween each so I could hammer a piece of rebar right through all of the sleepers and into the hole when I'd finished and...

lights from a fused switch (moved from Information)

Hi all I have run a wall light from the ring main via a 3amp fused switch in the past which I believe is compliant with regs. My questions is, if I wanted to run 2 independent lights (one either side of my bed) can I spur off one socket to a fused switch and then run a separate cable to each...
