Looking for some recommendations for supply only windows suppliers. Loads online but I don't like buying things like this blind. I'm in South Wales so would be good to find a local company but obviously that isn't that important compared to finding a good and trustworthy supplier. Many thanks.

No, no bubbling they just appeared quickly. It's not spray from a can of pop and the hole sizes are to uniform and over the entire wall, top to bottom.

Like you I think it's something left on the original paint surface but can see why it's just the one wall. I'll let it full dry and see how paint takes to it then. Thanks for the advise. Poe.

Hi guys, Painted two walls with no issues on the their third wall this morning and not long after the first coat got pin holes all over it, see photos. I've painted hundreds of rooms and never encountered this. The original paint although not a matt is low sheen. Any ideas how I can sort this...

Hi tell80, No, it's not a fancy pediment gable. Just a normal brick built cavity wall. I've got to get an SE out at some point to go over a couple things so I'll bring it to with them. Cheers.

Thanks for the reply, I've only just seen it as I've been away. The house is normal cavity wall construction and about 75 years old. I'm sure a few of the other houses here have done it although that doesn't mean it's ok. Maybe I'll double check with a SE first. Cheers.

Just a couple of quick questions. The chinmey breast had already been removed from the loft up. So looking to remove down to ground level. It's on the gable end. Does removing a chimney breast (constructed internally) cause any weakness in the end wall? And the other question is is it ok...

Dug a load of these blocks up and wondered what they might have been used for. They say Rufford, Stourbridge on their face. Looked online and I think the company went out of business in the mid 1930s. I thought maybe Foundation (spreader?) Blocks. Poe.

Sorry I did mean to say the foundations I could use them for are for a raised patio (600mm) so nothing to substantial. So I should be fine getting some 20mm clean. Want sure if I should add some sharp sand but it's getting hard to get around here, it's all recycled stuff unless you pay over...

Ok so I've over ordered some quarry dust (massively!). I've got some foundations to do so thought I could use it in the concrete mix but what ratio it safe. I understand to much will weaken the mix. There's plenty of stone in it up to maybe 4mm. Thanks, Po.

Thanks SpaceWorm, Yeah I've got a movement joint in with slip ties. I can hide the weep holes in a gravel path or slightly above so wouldn't be very noticeable. Where this wall meets another wall, that wall has lower stepped foundations so might just run drainage pipe down to this. Cheers Poe.
