I assume that is actually 10cm, not 10m?? If the pipes are only cold (eg mains feed in to the house), I assume this is OK and doesn't need any special protection.

I would say, measure the envelope and enter the dimention into a custom page format. make sure your printer is aligned in the correct place and it should be OK.

I would also suggest getting an external USB unit. At least then you could get a dual layer writer if you wish.

Mmm, without knowing the error message - or even part of it, I can't help much. If you have a local computer shop you could take it in there for a diagnosis, or as I said previously send it off to the repair company.
