Thanks Richard, I phoned Heatas, they said he had applied, but as yet his application has not been completed, and that he cannot issue certs, yet he told my lad that he can issue certs, crazy how the get away with it. Thanks again Bill

I've just found out the guy who gave him the £600 quote is only at the application stage with Heatas, EVEN THOUGH HE WEARS THE TEE-SHIRT and has a phoney emblem in yellow pages. He will now get 3 quotes. Thanks Bill

Cheers, It's actually for my son, he's got a quote from a Heatas installer. He will sweep chimney, install insulated liner and install stove, all for £600, how does that sound?. Thanks again Bill

My WB 18i system boiler seems to have air in the water-heating piping which has an auto bleed valve fitted. The heating seems OK as I have bled the radiators, but this does not seem to remove the air as there is a washy sound near the pump and in the pipe work . Is it possible to bleed the...

It's boiler swap, flush, flue etc, condensate drain and limestone sump, plus 8 TRV's

Does the condensate pipe have to go into the soakaway, as mine exits into a rainwater grid??

They want £3750 for the 330 + £150 to dig a hole for the condensate to drain into??? Included in price is £435 for a power flush, and I think they are trying to make out it's a worcester bosch.
