When balancing my rads do I aim for 11 or 20'C DT across each rad? I've read that condensing boilers should have 20'C across them but i'm not sure if this is a condensing boiler

The heatings been on for 3 hours, downstairs only and the return has increased to 59’C. the radiator temps At the top are from 40’C to 52’C so not great considering I have a flow of 75’C

Yes that was my thinking but if I close the gate valve and the boiler is on. Where will the water go? Or would it trip on a high pressure fault?

Hi, bit of an update on this. I removed 4 of the radiators downstairs and flushed them out. On a couple of them, black water did come out but not excessive amounts of sludge. I then checked the magnaclean last week and again found it slightly blocked so there must be some crap in the system...
