Loose window making entire wall rattle?

Thanks, both. Doggit, I've been in this house almost three years and the rattling is only noticeable now, so something's changed, it isn't just being on a dodgy road. I haven't looked up close outside, on a ladder. The window is quite high up, so I'd probably rather have a builder do that...

Loose window making entire wall rattle?

Thanks, Doggit, but you've lost me  Some pics below. I think the material is stained knotty pine. It's the entire bedroom that rattles, different parts of the walls, the door, so if it sounds like a familiar situation to anyone? But like I say, if I hold the window by the frames, it stops...

Loose window making entire wall rattle?

Hello, I have a window, it's in a wooden window frame. There's a rattling noise that occurs, I believe it's caused by the vibrations resulting from vehicles driving past. During the day it happens worst, on a night, when no traffic passes my house, is almost non-existent. The rattling noise is...

Painting a former MDF cupboard door

This darn door is becoming the bane of my very existence o_O Not gonna go down the spraying route, as the one quote I've got for it so far was £120, not including the cost of me sending the door to the place in London that would do it and return cost. Painting it sounds like a massive hassle...

Painting a former MDF cupboard door

Wow, thanks. Really helpful (y) I think I'll look in to finding someone that could spray it for me. I intensely hate even mild DIY

Painting a former MDF cupboard door

Howdy, I have a a kitchen cupboard door, the MDF plastic-like foil-wrapped whatever they are, like the photo below, and it (the MDF stuff) was cracked. I was unable to buy a straight replacement door, as nobody anywhere has the same size rails, so I've removed all the MDF and now it's just a...

What type of door do I have, and where do I find a replacement?

Thanks, both. B&Q say they won't cut it down. Advised me to get a planer and do it myself, no chance! I wondered if anyone had the answer to another question, save me starting a new thread. I have a a kitchen cupboard door, the MDF plastic-like foil-wrapped whatever they are, like the photo...

What type of door do I have, and where do I find a replacement?

Would I have to create the holes for the door knob and the hinges myself, or is there someone that would cut it down and do that for me? If you coudln't tell, I have little confidence in my DIY skills.

What type of door do I have, and where do I find a replacement?

I wondered if I could trouble you again, or someone else. Wickes and B&Q have the door I think I need, but theirs is about 9mm too tall and 2mm too wide. Where would I go to get it cut down?

What type of door do I have, and where do I find a replacement?

That's interesting. Does that mean every door in my house has been stained in this way? I rent the house, and there are six doors of this colour in total. The skirting boards, bathtub, attic door, all that stuff are the same type of wood and colour, so I didn't think the doors would be stained...

What type of door do I have, and where do I find a replacement?

Thanks a lot. It is light coloured underneath. Any suggestions on where I could find a replacement? The likes of Wickes and B&Q have pine doors, but never in this type of colour.

What type of door do I have, and where do I find a replacement?

Hello, all, Could anyone be so kind as to tell me what type of wood my door is, and where I go about finding a replacement? Thanks
