The Worcester is the better boiler by far, although a 5yr warranty is very appealing. I'd be tempted to check the terms of the warranty ie parts & or labour and then buy the Worcester.

yeah i've got a decent immersion spanner i gave it a good go earlier but my fear is if i apply any more pressure it's going to permanently damage the cylinder. the immersion has been there quite a long time by the looks of it.

cheers expensive buggers aren't they? I think i may try and get the old immersion out again, customer is rather skint. I think the cylinder will give up the ghost before it gives up the immersion though :(

anyone know of anywhere online that you can buy the direct copper cylinders which have the built in header tank? The sort you see a lot in flats which don't have gas. I've had a look around but no luck, just want an idea of price really

i would say avoid the fast track course like the plague. I honestly think it's a total waste of money. You'd be as well befriending a plumber and taking him to the pub two nights a week. For a year. Oh and mine's a guinness by the way :)

I would bare in mind that literally hundreds of guys that were made redundant from rover retrained at no cost to themselves as plumbers. that's not to say that they are any good
