for boosting flow to an electric shower from a tank.

any recommendations?

As far as I know, electric showers must be run on mains, never seen one that didn’t. is this the exception that confirms the rule?

nor me but it's a handy solution to a weak electric shower.

You can pump an electric shower provided the supply is tank fed and not mains.

We pump from a break tank into unvented cylinders for whole house installations.
