    Cistern running push button loo

The lad is saying it’s running into the pan from the overflow. Here’s a picture of it.

    Cistern running push button loo

Am I right that with the later generation of cisterns (a 6/7 years old close coupled pan) with push buttons in centre of lid that if water is trickling into the pan it’s most likely the centre flush itself at fault rather than the fill valve. This seems a common problem! What’s the best plan...

Saniflo running on noise with video

Ok thanks. Only me been using the loo and 100% nothing flushed that shouldve caused an issue. But the micro switch and membrane I assume are the only parts that could cause this? Should I get a new micro switch and membrane if end up dis-assembling..? Any recommendations on de-scaler to try?

Saniflo running on noise with video

Thanks (also above reply) What product would be best to use? I have to say the machine shouldn’t really be gunged up with its light use, but regular use of flush. Our water (Edinburgh) doesn’t generally cause scaling up. Why does the running on noise sound as it does? Am I right it’s not the...

Saniflo running on noise with video

It's a 3 year old Sanislim, with 99% light (no1) use. It still works ok but it making the running on/over running noise. To me, the noise sounds more rotational possibly without pump noise, so my best guess is it might be the blades spinning after the water has been pumped away. Does this sound...

    Servicing Geberit concealed cistern

Rung them today. Not tried it yet but Geberit were helpful. Won’t be able to try again for a day or two but it sounds like it should come off by pushing the plate TO THE RIGHT. I was trying pushing up, then pushing it to the left. So fingers crossed.

    Servicing Geberit concealed cistern

cheers but I did make a concerted effort to push the plate while it was flush (no pun intended) with the wall, both upwards and then to the left. This being prior to some slight prising out. I used a good bit of effort bit of a swine of a thing..

    Servicing Geberit concealed cistern

Re removing the flush plate, should pressure pushing the whole plate upwards release it? I came across something that said RH side comes away to then slide to left. NEITHER SEEM TO BUDGE IT!! Whole thing (ie white plastic backing) starts to pull out/shuffle up and down a bit which is probably...

    Adding pressure Worcester 30i combi

Thanks for your reply. To be honest you don't really hear water going in/filling. All I heard was a miniscule little psst when first touching the blue lever. I'm sure water isn't scooting out via the release valve. Yes I think the dial shows 1.1-1.2 with boiler operating.

The whole house seems to be set to 2 bar on a prv on the incoming main.

    Servicing Geberit concealed cistern

Thanks. Should a person get enough access from there/from the side (rather than from above) to likes of change the flush valve?

    Adding pressure Worcester 30i combi

It’s presently at about 1 bar so it’s not too low. I think the mains pressure might be lower from a PRV fitted (I recall being told something about the wet underfloor heating maybe having something to do why it’s set on the lower side when a plumber visited the house for a different reason..)...

    Servicing Geberit concealed cistern

I removed the wooden shelf above the cistern today to try and look at the set up. There was no access (or at least it hadn’t been considered). Cistern is occasionally running after flushing (pushing a button in sharply usually stops the water). There was no access underneath the wooden shelf...
