well its fires up on CH but goes off after 10 sec, but on HW doesn't come on @ all, if it does it comes on and goes straight off

hi all again, had a gas man round 2day, pressure ok, he said could be PcP board , or its lime scale on the heat exchange unit, its comes on then goes off after 10secs, its not going to be cheap, i have a PcP board coming tomorrow, any other ideas ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++...
