Modena 80 E problems

hi all again, had a gas man round 2day, pressure ok, he said could be PcP board , or its lime scale on the heat exchange unit, its comes on then goes off after 10secs, its not going to be cheap, i have a PcP board coming tomorrow, any other ideas

all so forgot mains has 15l per min, and hot water 4.5l per min

well its fires up on CH but goes off after 10 sec, but on HW doesn't come on @ all, if it does it comes on and goes straight off

Sorry it could be so many things but the fact you've had an engineer round i would hope he has checked all the basics so not worth me telling you about.

What made you post here despite your engineer saying he was getting a part.
Dont wanna sound awkward but wouldnt expect my customers to seek 2nd opinions if i had gone away to order a part.

well just wondn't so see if any one else has had this before, i was told that in the long run an new boiler would be better, but i'm moving at the end on the month so, trying to sav money, i will give him ring to 2mz to find a price for a new one, whats the ave price for a combi, only wont a cheap one due to comment above
