Yep it's earthed from the ceiling fixing, screws together with a bolt so it's earthed

As a slight update, this is where I'm at. After connecting this , not getting anything when switching the power back on. Am I missing something blatantly obvious? With the brown from the light going to the switching and blue going to blue?

Yep! Perfect that's all I wanted, thank you for the reply. No issues with linking the wagos or anything? Assuming it could be done similarly with terminal blocks, putting all 6 browns in one side and the ceiling switching live in the other side of the block? And then same for the blues?

Metal, so one earth coming from the light fitting (it's attached to the ceiling bracket)

My bad, looks like it's been braided together with one of the others, initially only looked like one to me

They'll be sat inside the light fitting, they don't need to be in a box then do they?

So this is the state of the light fitting at the moment and the second image is the state of the ceiling.

How come? Surely all the brown wires from the light fittings need to go together? And then just your switching wire from the ceiling also going with them? Leaving the rest of the looped browns in the connector block already there? (Won't be touching this)

Sorry, should have been more clear. The image I attached of the existing wire has since been taken down and cut away a bit ( the pendant wires were shortened), but is going back up , so all the bit below the connector block has basically been removed. So I'm now left with 6 blue, 6 brown and...

Yeah I know which is the switched live that's all good, diagram unfortunately does not show the state of the ceiling wires that well. And apologies for that, I've attached an image of how the one was wired previously. I'm not an electrician so unsure if how they done it previously would be best...

Some more notes incase it helps anyone, if I quickly empty the sink then the washing machine seems to be the one that's gurgling!

Never had this issue previously, only other major change is it's gone from a single bowl to a double. If that would affect anything?
