    Flickering LED batten lights

Other option is to swap for ones with driver or ballast like these. Although not as much light output, will be enough for the shed https://www.toolstation.com/v-tac-ip20-led-super-slim-batten-with-samsung-chip/p14356

    Flickering LED batten lights

Hi all I have 3 x 4ft Integral led lights in my shed which are around 2yrs old now and noticed after 5mins or so they start to flicker constantly and won’t stop until switched off. Considering they don’t get much use, I’m surprised they’re playing up already. Is there anything I could do...

    Worth replacing 90s double glazing?

No water leaks at all, only one opener per window. The bay windows have 5 panes 24”x44”, plus 5 smaller 24”x24” panes. So from a thermal efficiency pov there is no difference?

    Worth replacing 90s double glazing?

Hi all My house has upvc double glazing from what looks like the 90’s, all externally beaded. Majority of the panes have now blown and wondering if there is any advantage of replacing the whole frames versus new glass panes. I’m having some rotten wooden frames replaced soon and was thinking...

    Expansion vessel

Hi Is there a particular one to use on the cold water side or are they all the same. Also does the size matter :) Reason is the 35litre one I have (for 300 litre tank) is damaged and need to either buy another or a neighbour has a new 24litre that I can have if it is suitable. Thanks

Claim of damage by neighbour due to part chimney removal

Have they removed the chimney breast on their side at all while doing their renovations? Only as as far as I remember when using fallow brackets only one side can be removed

    Chimney liner

Hi all When moving into our house there was no fire but the surround was still in place and the back panel was solid with no cutout. Having cut a hole we have found a liner which extends to the floor of the inner chimney. I have had the liner inspected and swept but wondered how this would work...

Right, I’ve updated panel to 6.02 and removed and replaced batteries in the two offending pir’s. One was the original Duracell which measured 2.75v and the other was an Energiser at 2.82v. New battery measured at 3.28v which were energiser as well. I’ve check using wintex and Ricochet monitor...
