What do you mean? The cable will come from the opposite wall socket

The wall is 37cm wide. And this is how it would look like with a socket (it would be metal box). I could consider putting a single socket instead. My main concern is whether this is allowed or not. metal box will be fix in the brick. Thanks all for your help
