UPVC Solid Door Panel suppliers ?

Wouldn't normally ask about suppliers but Googled myself to death and just about to hit the phones, so thought I'd just ask. I'm looking to replace a solid panel in the bottom of a glazed french door. It is wood effect outside and white inside. Anyone point me towards any suppliers ...

    Can you believe this ????...

Appols for opening up an old thread but I'm hoping that IMAMARTIAN, WATCHMAKER or anyone else could tell me how to get these snap fit members out to remove a panel. Watchmaker wrote and I assume Imamartian managed it. They presumably need something thin to prise them out ? but mine are very...

    Problem with Indesit Washine Machine

Just before you do the bearings, check with wife that she hasn't lost a bra wire. I had one stuck between the drums, just enough sticking through hole inside drum to get some pliers on it. But as said, probably your bearings......

What base for new garden decking ?

Given my ground condition, composition, sloop, etc, I have not wasted my time, I have put foundations as appropriate. I replied here intending to help the original poster, as these BBs are intended and all you have done is blindly criticise. So get off my case and stop wasting everyones time...

    Power Shower or Pump?

These are specifically for negative head (cold tank at or below shower head) and this place is the best price (by about 30%) I've found. Got mine from here and installed it about 3 years ago, love it. http://www.h-i-e.co.uk/acatalog/Pumped_Quartz_Processor.html#a2016

    Novice needing Decking advice

Too much information Mike. Most people won't read that lot let alone follow all the links. People are happy to answer fairly concise questions but you appear to asking for a full service. I haven't read your full post for that reason. Responding in good nature.....

    Groaning Pipes!

Probably water hammer. Have you opened up your mains water supply lately ? if so, try turning it down. Failing that look at the float valve in the cistern when its happening, is it vibrating to the touch ? If so and the mains hasn't been opened up, change the float valve. Frattonstation, near...

Do joist hangers on decks make the deck boards uneven ?

Thank you Mark, yes the ones on the right as you say, but only because they are the only ones I saw in the local DIY shed. I think I'll look for the other now that you've alerted me to them, thanks. Incidentally, do we know why the wrap over ones are not recommended ?

Do joist hangers on decks make the deck boards uneven ?

I'm thinking of using joist hangers when building my deck but when you have bent them over the top of the joist, doesn't that make the top of the joist uneven for putting the deck boards on ? The hangers only look 2 or 3mm thick so that would be the degree of unevenness, is it just absorbed when...

    Problems with hot water

Probably right Chris, but they also do that if they are bottom mounted and the tank has a lot of limescale in it (hard water area) causing it to periodically overheat and trip. Only cure for that is remove the immersion and get the scale out. But there again, we haven't been told any of that.

Switch wire in a ceiling rose

A continuity test from the back of the switch to the wires in the rose will tell you which one is the switched live. And when you find it, mark it with red tape in the rose.
