Hi all. I have an Alpha CB 24X combi boiler. I have a problem with it. When the CH is on i have loads of hot water, when the CH is off i have no hot water. This is really annoying cos i have to keep turning the CH on just to have a shower/bath. i've no plumbing experience so can i do this myself...

Nothing in the manual about topping up, just says ring the helpline, which the MRS did and the numbrer's no longer in use.
