    Cuprinol wood preserver

The product does say it contains waxes. However, when I asked about it they said it can be over coated with paint etc. It is a water based product. When the first coat went on it dried fine and hadn’t repelled.

    Cuprinol wood preserver

I have just used this product over previously treated wood. https://www.cuprinol.co.uk/products/wood_preserver_clear.jsp It’s going past the stated 16 hours drying time (weather has been warm). Although I’ve seen 1-5 days mentioned also for drying. The surface is now really sticky and...

The rock is part of the original garden, you can clearly see the base of the rock. The gardens have been cut into the ground where the rock was and some was left behind.

    Garden Decking Height

Thanks. Yes you can clearly see the rocks part of the ground you can see the base coming out of the ground. The gardens have been cut into the land as you have said. We get on with both neighbours so not overly concerned, but due to the height of the rock, we can see over the fences as it is...

    Garden Decking Height

Hi All, Really interesting reading this thread. @LukeB123 @John D v2.0 wonder if you could advise. I am looking to put some deck over the rock in the photo. (Arrow showing where) The deck will be pretty much touching the rock at the highest point. Then at the bottom it slopes down so the gap...

    Decking complaint (threads merged)

It’s part of the natural ground. The rise at the top closest to the fence is about 5-10cm at most. However, the rock slopes down to the ground, I think one corner will be about 35cm The rock that is uncovered next to it is much higher. As it’s part of the natural ground would this class as...

From where would the measurements for planning be taken if i were to put decking over the tock in the photo. I’ve measure and it would be under 30cm in most places, but due to the slope of the ground, it may be higher as you move left.
