    Turn the centre selector switch to the middle position. Does the power light and the display go blank??? If by manual over-ride you mean you remove the cap on the fascia and press the button then don't!! It's not a manual over-ride, it puts the boiler into a heating engineers combustion analysis...

    No, it's the non return valve to prevent the boiler pumping primary water back through the dhw heat ex when in ch mode I meant not the by-pass. solo, not really a servicable part if the spring has weakened but I don't think it's break the bank for a new one. vokera part no 2908.

    sounds like a diverter valve problem. Have a look at the little white indicator on the right hand side of the diverter valve. It moves back or forwards depending on what mode the boiler is in. i can't remember which way is which mode but you should see a change when you turn on?off a hot tap...

    combi diverter valve

    did the diaphragm come completely assembled on the pin? If it didn't and you stripped the pin down to change the diaphragm you need to have put the pin back in the right way up. It looks to the eye that it's equal but there is a difference.....about 2 mil :D

    Are there any good flue gas analysers?

    I've had a testo 325 which i was impressed with. changed to a telegan sprint because the 325 didn't do diff pressure at the time (it does now) changed from the sprint (because it was terrible) back to testo but went for the 330. best of them all so far but expensive initial layout.
