Yes, so my original question was whether there was anything that could be done to make it suitable for Zone 1. A couple of other replies made me hopeful there was but I appreciate the manufacturer’s position is the official position as regards safety and suitability and therefore not.

Hello I've just realised that the demister mirror I bought to go above the bath is only suitable for Zone 2 and beyond. As I want it to go in Zone 1 is there anything I can do (other than put it elsewhere), or have I just made an expensive mistake? Thanks
