    Baxi 105e CH/HW Problem

It is awkward to remove......but it is possible. If you replace remember to change all the washers etc.....they will leak after otherwise. My guess is if it is stuck then why......system dirty?? Best to change the hydraulic block i think.

Which is fine.......until he comes to sell and can't produce the correct paperwork....... A number of items are now obselete on the old profiles........strange but the OP pays probably many thousands for a new extension but not the grand or so to get and fit a new boiler??! Which would save...

Baxi Bermuda Inset 2 50/4E - Gas escaping

Unless there is something i am missing here rest assured your room is not filling up with gas (i am assuming natural not lpg) as it is lighter than air and will be dispersed via the flue. If the main burner ignites, even for a short period any gas is also ignited. If it fails to ignite the...

    Megaflow Pressure and Flow Rates

Right, i work for Heateam. We carry out all warranty work on megaflow/heatrae products. I can't obviously confirm your conversation but i can tell you that if you did as said engineer told you and it was audited and found to be the engineer who had said this then it would result in...

    Megaflow Pressure and Flow Rates

I agree.....the megaflow should easily outperform the WB You must have set up issues. Oh and 2.5bar shower and 22l per minute is good. Perhaps the system is set up incorrectly. Don't under any circumstances remove the prv/combi valve. Dangerous and will invalidate your warranty

Baxi 105 e central heating comes on randomly on its own

I think you will find that the boiler is operating correctly. The instant comes on to heat up an internal store of water held in the expansion tank so as to heat up incoming cold water when a tap is opened. Try turning the water dial to the 12 o clock position (anti clockwise). This switches...

Can A 15mm Water Supply Pipe Feed Two Flats?

I seriously doubt a 15mm single supply would cope with 2 flats. It won't help to run it in 22mm as the single 1/2 inch? 3/4 inch? lead pipe can only cope with so much flow. Better to rum a 30mm mdpe supply and split this

Megaflo Top immersion not heating properly

If it is the stat then you don't have to drain down. The stat section just pushes into the boss and 2 pins connect onto the element itself

    Potterton Suprima

Wrong......requires a new wiring harness too as the old one isn't compatible. Not a big job but one which requires the combustion chamber to be breached therefore i can't help you as that is gas work. That said if the rust has caused the combustion chamber to be breached that would be ID and...

    drain

plastic abs. comes as 21.5mm for some reason! Just treat as 22mm for connecon to existing stack/drain. Rubber 32/22mm or 40/22 reducers are available to connect to modern stack connection points (or drill and use a collar)

    claiming costs

What i am saying is that vat for a non vat registered business is treated as a busines expense. Obviously your ability to 'claim' it as such stops once you you break even so unlike a vat registered bu8siness which can continue to reclaim vat regardless of profit/loss a non registered business...

    claiming costs

Not quite correct......you can't reclaim the vat directly but the total costs of the business are deductable , including the vat paid. upto the point where you break even......
