    Telephone extension

    If you run the jigsaw base along a batten clamped to the job you will get a smooth straight line new blade fine teeth.

    Extending a master phone socket

    You are moveing it for a better look but the twin incoming cable is to short it can be extended via a suitable jcn. box internal or external, use telephone extension cable its thinner but its ok make sure you get the wires the correct way round or it wont work.

    New power saw trips garage mcb - what options do I have?

    If i am correct the cable is fused at 20a my suggestion is a 16a dedicated saw cct and a 10a small tools etc therefor if operator error caused the current to rise above 20a the mcb in the house will trip you are covered for any overload situation and only the saw can use the higher rated feed.
