    The drill must be an issue instead of the Bit,as you said you have used Hilti bits there are not many bits better then that of you are really worried then use a Bosch percussion drill,this is not as fierce as a SDS

    If they are dusty then brush off what you can with a stiff broom.and some PVA watered down wI'll be very good for adhesion of the dry wall adhesive

    I have used the Dunlop kit for.many years and find it excellent BAL is extortionate even with our trade terms and there are other superior products available. Adhesive is perfect example as most tilers will have a firm favourite and know how it works for them as well as drying and workability...

    You are best off using bonding only and plumb the walls the beat you can There is no need to skim the walls as this is purely for decorative finish and you can tile straight on top of bonding

    That is proper lash up sorry Even 12.5mm ply is not suitable , we have ditra matting "No More Ply " Hardibacker Aqua panel and whole.myriad of other boards to use and all of these would do a proper job and not cause you headache afterwards Rip up.and do it properly

    I know the tile shop you are talking about I prefer to use cement based flexible tile adhesive and in most bathroom.applications this will be used on floors and walls Kitchen and cloak rooms I may use ready mix but prefer the powdered material as you get more bang for your buck

    You can dot n dab them with no issues. Cavity wall so no issue what so ever
