    Quite possible there is a junction box somewhere, it was common years ago.

    Changing switch plate

    Wiggly line with arrow = Com. The others don't matter which way round in this case. The 2 terminals opposite the Com go to the same switch. Oh, and earth the metal faceplate!! If you have LED lamps, make sure they are dimmer compatible.

    Garden strimmer Ryobi or Stihl.

    I have Stihl petrol strimmer, hedgecutter and blower. Don't use them now, got Milwaukee M18 multi function strimmer, pole pruner and pole hedge trimmer, plus blower. Not cheap, but I don't have to rush out to get a can of (very) expensive petrol any more. Got a Hyundai mower 40v.

    If you don't lift the boards how do you expect to get the caps on, even if by some miracle you cut the pipes below board level?

    I use Pirelli Scorpion Verde on my Ford Edge. Grip well, wear well on a 2 ton tank, on my fourth set at 95k miles, fairly quiet.

    Beware if you want to fit a kickspace heater. Ikea have less space and most won't fit.

    Quinetic receiver

    I have fitted Quinetic switching for customers without any issues. I also have several at home. Just occasionally one switch doesn't trigger on first push, but isn't a big issue.
