connecting toilet to the sewer ? help greatly appreciated

Thanks for the swift replies tony and noseall . Sorry about my miserable attempt at a little humour. I have an external cast-iron SVP on the house that joins the IC as shown on new diagram. The stub-stack would have water from a shower going into it,is that allowed ? Thanks again.

    Eye care - A warning

Hope everything turns out okay,"two trowels".I am sure it will. I think every plasterer has had a least one very bad experience with muck in the eye. A while ago I was working on site with another plasterer and a labourer . We had a big set on, the other plasterer was laying down some...

How to precisely remove boarded wall without wrecking ceilin

Hello Where wall joins the ceiling , cut through the joint with a stanley knife .Keep cutting until the blade can go no further. Do the same to the wall joints, the wall is now a separate entity. Make a hole in the middle of the board and work outwards.

    Joists/ceiling how to level?

Why not ask whoever is going to plaster the ceiling ,to come around and have a look . You might be worrying over nothing. If you were to go along the packing out route ,it would be easier to counter-batten with 4by1 (or similar) , and pack out battens .

    Joists/ceiling how to level?

if the ceiling is gradually uneven you should be okay. where the ceiling joins the wall, or coving ,that might show, check the ceiling-line with a 6ft straight edge.
