What sort of wall is this??

Dear DIYnot,

I have just started on refurbing my front bedroom and I was hoping that the sages in the forum can give me some advice!

These are pictures of the wall in the 1st floor bedroom of my Victorian terraced house built in 1901. I want to strip the room back to the rafters to redecorate. Level floors, renew electrics etc. I want to add switches and sockets to the wall.

I have taken off the architrave around the door frame off to see how the wall is constructed. I am hoping that it is not a lathe and plaster wall but I suspect I will be disappointed.. Can someone with experience tell me if this is indeed lath and plaster?

looks like it is to me.is the wall hollow?

Looks like a couple of lathes near the top hinge.

Knock some more of the plaster off to be sure.

If it's not a load-bearing wall, it will be either lath and plaster, or brick-on-edge reinforced with timber studding.
