Could shut off loudly, had it on a heat pump install that needed 3 port turning, had auto bypass pretty much closed at time and needed opening up quite a bit I stop noise. It was working as diverter though and not 3 port

Higher pressure means louder pump

Easier still fit system boiler 4 piped, cy sensor and rf prog stat inc wc :D

Think you need to check wiring from scratch

Disagree, in right instance with no power flush needed its very easy, Combi straight swap I've done in 5 hrs inc chemical clean on newish rads. If power flush or system upgrade I allow 3 days

Thought so, it's in docs I think. I know they said it works like that on diverter valve but on 3 port it would be as you said.

Impossible to say would need more info ie where is water leaking etc, what's the pressure of system water in boiler, any fault codes ie f22 etc

Anyway you'll always want the hw stat satisfied as its hw priority :wink:

Viessmann sent me a wiring diagram where this happens so that you can just have weather comped heating with no hw
