    yep i flushed it through first with a hose and then connected it. now going to act somemore sentinel x100 to my system again on refilling!! I have some stanley screwdrivers, not cheap cheap ones. the screw just wouldn't seem to budge!!

    just fitted my new towel rad after draining the system, now going to refill it and will bleed rads in doing so, and manual air vent next to the HWSV. but how do i bleed my pump?! It is a grundfos 15-50 and has a circular slotted screw at the front, but no screwdriver (even a big one) fits it...

    i have one of those hand swingers. it's like a coil of wire inside a little gun type body. you pull the trigger and it shoots out!! has worked on my toilet before. bought it from screwfix.

    i have an adjustable basin wrench. it's tricky to use, but i have used it before and got the hang of it! i prefer to use an adjustable spanner IF i can get better access tho.

    this ACS gas test(s) - are they both practical and theory? Does ACS qualified allow you to work on gas boilers/fires, etc?! I have seen advertisements for ACS courses in newspapers recently.

    yep def double check-mine is luckily over 1 bar, but gravity fed can be very low. so you may need to install a shower pump as well! i am installing a new MIRA shower soon with a pump as even though my pressure if OK I want it better.
