    Electric shower and water tank

Andrew - We have an old victorian house which already has 3 bathrooms. 2 showers are pump fed and one gravity fed. As you can imagine when there is more than one shower going at once we have major issues with hot water. We are considering changing out for an unvented system but our pressure and...

    Electric shower and water tank

Sorry Dan, on a separate note, what size tank would you recommend for this type of system? Guess we'd be looking at 2 showers one after the other 5 - 7 mins each.

Evening, I am looking to install a new ensuit and will more than likely be forced to install an electric shower. Is it possible to run and electric shower directly from a cold water storage tank in the loft or does it have to run off mains water? If it is possible to use a storage tank then...

Whitespirit thanks for your reply. I stood in front of the combi boiler tonight whilst the wife ran the shower. Indeed the boiler does shut down at around 56 degrees. The cold water then reduces the temperature quickly to 42 degrees when the boiler fires up again. This happens every time the...

We have a Tristan mixer shower fitted in the bathroom, over the last few months the shower will run cold for a few seconds after a couple of minutes and then gain heat again. This will happen every 2 minutes until you finish your shower. We had the combi boiler serviced, thinking this was the...

Sash Window Box Frame (moved from GD)

Afternoon, Just a very quick question with regards securing the box frame of a sash window. The house we just bought has sash windows throughout and some of these will need a complete refit. When looking at the design and how they are secured, it looks as if they fit flush to the brick wall...

Peugeot 206 - rough running after start up

For anyone who may have similar problems to this one, it was the O2 Sensor (Lambda Sensor). It was also a pig to get out of the exhaust pipe, welded itself in, so had to replace upper joint also. Thanks for all your comments. Andy
