    Check the party wall in the loft also. In our last house, there were lots of large gaps and we could actually talk to the neighbours if we were both in the loft at the same time. I once lived a a row of terraces and that had no divisions between the lofts!.

    If for every new build the put a sump under the proprty and diverted the roof water into it, with a simple filter and pump it could be used to supply water for flushing the loos and watering the garden at the very least. :idea:

    When you boot the pc, when the screen is first displayed it normally has the name of the bios manufacturer and the version (AMI, Award etc etc). Search for bios manufacturers website via google. here's the Mesh site, a good starting place...

    Borrow a friends pc and download the latest bios, it should allow you to put it on a floppy disk. You then boot the machine with the disk and it will re-flash the bios. Make sure the battery on the motherboard is ok and check the seating of all components.

    If you have MS Outlook you can set up a re-occuring appointment. File - New - Appointment Enter subject title, time etc. Click on the recurrence button and set your criteria.

    How are you going to get access to the shed and just out of curiosity, why the need to elevate it?

    I normally use about 3-4 turns on a 15mm fitting. The larger the fitting and coarser the thread the more turns you will need.
