    I have turned the stop tap of and let water out still get the sound. Still get the sound in another house on the supply with my stop tap off. I put a monument gauge on my washing machine tap.

    Anyone had success finding a cure for this. Water hammer is hard enough to find if in your own home, never mind if coming for another house on a shared main. Is about 10 houses on it.

    Thanks I'll try again tomorrow. I think when I did turn all off bar that one the boiler got to temperature and cut off. I'll try again tomorrow

    Thanks so the return could still be coldish but the radiator could heat as it is dipisatating most of the heat through the radiator

    I did turn the others off and it started to perform better. Though I still wasn't getting much heat on the return pipe to it. I think the boiler cut out water at required temperature. I'm going to try again tomorrow. Just wondered if there was anything I could try

    Yeah I installed the arrow so it flows through the correct way. The baffle forces the flow up the radiator heat is going up to the top of the radiator it is just struggling to return by the looks of it

    Not great yet. The flow pipe is hot going too it. Then the heat has started to work it's way up the columns and through the radiator. However the return pipe is only Luke warm.
