    yes I see were your coming from, the pump (which you never mentioned)circulates the hw all the time and ch works through the motorised valve when ch switched on. your wiring looks ok, you should just have to keep your hw switched on as well as your ch to get the radiators to work. (in theory)...

    if its the old type spiral ring its just a matter of unscrewing and replacing with a a new one, not much knowledge needed. I haven't replaced any other type yet e.g ceramic :)

    6AMP fuse takes about 1440 watts for that light circuit before it blows, just make sure the circuit load doesn't exceed it and 1mm cable cable wouldn't be there if it wasn't heavy enough. as for the low voltage lights they wouldn't make much of a difference to the load.

    I need a few replacement springs for door handles, I don't want new handles as the ones I have are good quality and it would be a real waste. I have seen 1 web site 94p each trouble is postage is £7.80 stupid or what :roll: any ideas :?:

    I assume you mean the second one went ok for a while? you could have a faulty trip this time or you should maybe have tried a different make of oven. I recommend neff as I had one for 22 years before a hinge went, on my second now 5 years old :)

    my 2 stroke ryobi strimmer model plt 2543-y just stopped in the middle of cutting grass, pull cord won't pull as if the engine or clutch seized :oops: any ideas :?:

    Wireless Door Bells

    I tried a couple of wireless door bells years ago and didn't think much of them. I had to keep replacing the batteries at short intervals to get it to work. just forgot about it all together :wink:
