Thanks. It drips out the aerator but if i unscrew the shower pipe then it drips from there. Do i need to isolate the water if taking the valve out? I see a small plug on the back of the taps so assume i put a small hex in there to take the top off?

Have a dripping bath shower mixer tap. Have watched 2 videos on repairing. One say use a 12mm hex key, take cartridge out and replace o rings. Other says replace washer on taps. Which is it? Also the cartridge video shows unscrewing the cap of the diverter but mine just seems to spin and doesnt...

My meter just flashes numbers, it not the old spinning wheel. I just get a 1 or 2 for rate. Also have solar so dont know if that makes a difference.

I cant check on meter when other things will be drawing. The thermostat on the top of the cylinder - the switch connecting to that is always off. I only had to switch that on when we had a boiler issue. So is it the small box on the cylinder that switches on and off via the honeywell?

Ideally it just needs rotate 5degrees clockwise but it cant. At the moment i have the cover off and if i push it forward away from the tank, the pipe kink reduces and it flushes. But i can secure it like that and dont want to break it
