    Sander Advice

yes mine came with pad savers for the 150 and the 125mm pads. I've only really used the 125mm so far as that's the size 3M pads I've got. I will probably get one of those foam things as they seem like they could help a fair bit. thanks.

    Sander Advice

I've honestly not spent a lot of time using the abranet as I only got a sample pack with my Deros. I find with what I use them for they disintegrate on the edges long before they run out of abrasiveness. I mainly use 120 - 320 but mostly 180 and 240.

    Sander Advice

I have no comparison as I've gone from a cheap nasty Black and decker RO thing to a Mirka Deros but I absolutely love it. It's light, not too loud and doesn't vibrate much at all. Plus it really fits lovely in the hand making it comfortable to use for really long periods of time. I only use...

    Uneven founds

Ive just had the same problem with my extension self build. Laid the foundation mostly flat but one edge had a 25mm rise along it and also the level of it was out of line with the bricks on the house it was joining to. I spent a day or so cutting the first course of concrete blocks to take...

Channelling cables into the ground for a Kitchen Island

Gotcha, Nope. Soil pipe will be for the ensuite waste and pick up the kitchen island waste as it passes. The remaining space within the channel will be used for a conduit for the electrics and also now a hot and cold water feed.

Channelling cables into the ground for a Kitchen Island

The channel is 350mm wide so plenty of room to put cable conduit one side and water lines the other. I just wanted to check there wasn’t some weird rule I’ve missed stopping it being done?

Channelling cables into the ground for a Kitchen Island

I'm currently extending a previous extension. As part of that i'm cutting a channel into my extension floor for a soil pipe to go in for an ensuite we're pre planning for. It seems daft to have to cut a second channel for the electrical supplies that'll be needed on the Kitchen island the pipe...

    Extending a Garage.

Possibly looking to extend my detached single garage at some point in the future and was just wondering a few things. The plan is to add a small section to the side approx. 3m x 4m(undecided about actual size atm) creating an L shaped Garage with the new bit being used as storage and the main...

    Insert Plate

Could you use a blank one and then just drill the holes in it to match? I did the same with mine recently when the Trend Router table I picked up on ebay turned out to have a mullered plate that was beyond saving and discontinued.

Sprayable Water based Polyurethane does it exist in the UK?

Yep airless. Its a Wagner 250M. More suited to painting rooms I think but it comes with a 311 tip which I think works out as a 1.1mm tip size? they do a 211 for tis model but I think that means the tip size is the same but the spray size is smaller?

Party Wall act question in relation to walls over 3m long

We don’t have an agreement as of yet. What I mean is I think she thinks the rules don’t allow you to have a PW astride the boundary past 3m from the house. Anything past 3m has to be set in to be on my side of it.
