    1 day for boiler 2 days for megaflow 1 day gas run maybe 2. 1 day for commissioning and paperwork ish probably half day. 1 day electrics . 1 day down the cafe waiting for proper materials to turn up. 1 day one the mobile sorting out my holidays etc.

    This would explain the phssing noise when the water is boiling, causing the boiler and pipework to vibrate , Hence the dust. Its worth checking out rather than dismissing it as nonesence. Most plumbers with little experience would not even think off this.

    If the water in the f+e tank is hot and steaming it normally means the boiler stat is not working and overheating.

    I suppose it all depends on the amount off grant money available. It may not cover the cost of a combi boiler.

    Check the temperature of the water in the F + E tank see if its hot or cold. and let me know

    Most elecricians tape the cable to the gas pipe.

    You might find it best to cap it off just in case the drains block you could have waste flooding in if it is just boxed in.

    The manufacturers say you do not need anything. I have fitted thousands off compression fittings. I might get one in 500 that dont work,that would of worked with a bit off paste, So i generaly use it as much as possible. Saves a lot off draining down
