first.. what is the floor contruction..? how big an area is it...loose or a matting sytem.. again this depends on size off area? what type off tile are looking to have fixed to the floor? lots off things to look into before even going down this route... ps...its not cheap to run...

OP you have far to much timber there...imo...you will get a lot of movement in that timber constrution!! if it was me looking to fix tiles to that floor...i would have it all ripped up and had 145/175mm treated timber, bolted onto walls with a resin insertred in with the wall bolts.. and...

not a very good idea to tile over...weight limits come into the mix ere... remove the old boards whatever they are, and replace with a cement based backerboard 12.5mm thick... depends on the state off the orginal floorboards..how bad are they?? wimpey house..no doubt it will probaly...

as tpt has said... tiling onto bonding is a big..NO..NO.. bet he wont even prime either...

when overboarding with wbp ply always place a 2p coin between boards and yes min 10mm around the perimeter of the room... once you get your floor lifted...then you can look into what needs done until then its all guess work...

try a local indepedant,they will/should be able to help you out.. what area are you grouting..food area?

your tiles have been fixed...old style..and they will be no doubt ceramic.. just bite the bullet and take them all off,is the house old whats the make up of the walls...do you have a cavity?...outer skin and inner skin..block/brick ect.. what type of tile and size are you planning on fixing?

what is the joist size/thickness/spacing/span.. first... the room is it upstairs/downstairs... what size of former are you fitting[width/lenght and thickness]... what size off gulley/trap is it[45mm-75+]...your shower how much litres per minute is it giving out... get your set out with...

Build a small bulkhead at this area and then use PVC to cover it then seal with a good quality silicone... use dry wall screws and cover caps to secure the PVC to your treated timber frame to form bulkhead...

If been fixed properly the elect ufh should be incased in a latex self levelling compound....so if your lifting tiles be very careful and you shouldn't damage it....but on the other hand in may not be in cased in slc...so you may have to bite the bullit and replace it all.. Best to get a tile...

When you say waste..is it 110mm(sewage).. or 40mm(sink)...? Also what type and size off tile is fixed to the wall..? What is the wall made off..from the outside to the inside..render/pebbledash/.facing brick/cavity(with cavity infill)..conctete block/aereated block ect /timber framed...

For that size off area you will want to get the screed delivered and either pumped in or poured in with wheel barrow mate... Your talking about just under 2tonne..ie..just under 9m3(9 cubic metre) Would be cheaper and faster doing it this way than mixing and pouring yourself... So you...

Joists....min 400mm spacing..what's the span length... Are you using a tray former if so how thick is it...this will determine the thickness off the overboard... Or are you using a tray..40mm thick lets say??? More detail needed mate Anyway...waterproof floor and wall...
