The skim plaster has blown....that's what as caused your failure....

50/50.... Boiled linseed oil and white spirits.... Most flex floor grouts will do as well.....well a good recommended mfr...

Because you can see water damage. On the ply in your pics either replace with b/boards or over board with it,use a b/board for your bath panel also... Once you fit your access panel in the position where you can get to stopcocks ect....you won't need to remove the whole bath panel...

Fit it the way you have it in your last pic...(run tiled bath panel up underneath it... Piece in backer boards around the edge off bath ontop off the ply you have there... And use a good sealant around wall/bath tile....Dow cornering ect..

Just fit a magnetic access panel to the bath panel...they come is a range off sizes to suit your tile size.... Google the above...there are loads on the market and very easy to fix..

Question.... Why did you go with osb? IMO your starting off all wrong in using this.... But if already set...THEN... As tpt as told you..... Epoxy grout...even around the edge off w/top and wall...

Once you get yourself set up and ready for fixing tiles we will talk you thro... Set up/datums/tiling around window/grouting ect..ect.. :wink:

If plaster is in good condition,then for the wet area around your tray... You will want to tank this area...you can get homelux/dura/ wall membrane(hang like wallpaper)...or a paint on version bal/mapei ect...there are other mfr on the market to choose from... Prime all walls with an...

Ok hypno First things first....what are the substrates your fixing the tiles to and what type/size off tiles are they? The floor what is this made off...timber/screed ect... The tray what type is it...low level or upstands (legs on it)...what is it made off?...usually the mfr...
