If it's a dry bonding gutter, ask him what the sand strip is for?

I thought redland 49s in smooth were 17.5 too? Assumes 100m headlap though.

I've generally either stitched drilled or cut new openings. Saves risk of making bricks further back lose which a breaker might. Just dealt with the dust which is epic if cutting.
I've just done this and also got the £7 amazon gasket after dry fitting the pan. The foam gasket just allowed the pan to flex a little when sat on. I didn't like that at all, so removed it and binned it.
I used a clear adhesive/sealant instead. Now rock solid and evens out any point loading...
I matched this almost perfectly, you'd never see the difference unless you studied it. Got the flat as small as possible and finished with a light sand.
I've made a load of my own mdf window boards as a large sheet of 25mm mdf was left here. Bought a cheap set of round over bits and pretty much matched the factory bullnose. I've not used the router a huge amount before that. Came out so well I did a oak one too.
I guess what I'd choose to use...
Bricks are London stocks I would think(and looking at your location), very easy to get.
Your tools look clean to me! Just keep them dry and all is good.
Well done for having a go. Somethings that would have made it better would be better brick match, light brush over on the diagonal with a soft brush. Mortar colour will change over the next few weeks, but you've got 2/3 colours up there already!
Are you making sure you're not clogging the bit up and/or getting it too hot? Withdraw it occasionally to free the dust and don't go too fast. You never want to get drill bits too hot.
I've watched builders destroy countless drill bits drilling steel beams because they don't know what they're...
I used 6mm trim with similar metros along the thin uncut edge. It's a bit tight with adhesive but was better than 8mm. I had to get it ordered in at a local tile shop.
I see the rather excellent DIY kitchens planner app is now offline as the beta trial has now ended!! Don't get what they were thinking there, it was so useful.
Looks horrid, sorry, definitely wouldn't accept that. Not not a fan of putting these roofs on conservatories myself. I always think they attract the type of trader whose just after a fast buck and touts on facebook.
