    there are various models so M4 allows 4 HDDs an M2 2 hard drives the more specific you are the better the match can be made. DS-7608NXI-K1/8P(D) for example would work but not much scope later on but much cheaper than an M series

    also you can opt for built in POE or no POE in the NVR. Most domestics go back to the NVR, but we have a few customers with out buildings that connect back to the NVR via the network at the property rather than direct camera to NVR
