    Fibreglass Roofing Kits

Almost ready to fibreglass the 30 square metre roof of my workshop. It's flat-roofed with a slight gradient for water runoff. Could someone recommend a good fibreglass kit please, perhaps provide a link? Thanks all

Ground Level or Interior Floor Level

This is what I was thinking of doing, going for full planning permission, but as said, it's going to cost time, money and just not going to be worth it. Have I got this right, there is one spot around the shed that's 4" below the interior floor level but everywhere else it's about 1" (if...

Ground Level or Interior Floor Level

It's a concrete floor with dpc all around so I'm hoping I won't have to

Ground Level or Interior Floor Level

The council. They know about the shed, they've had me abide by their rules and I have done, and they'll come out when it's finished. It does come under PD but because I've encroached into the 2-metre boundary on either side by about 3 to 4 cm, the height can be no higher than 2.5m. This is a...

Ground Level or Interior Floor Level

Thanks That might be a bit of a problem. Any way I can work around that? Bring the ground level outside flush with the interior? I find it crazy they'll measure from the one section it's lower when everywhere else it's flush.

Ground Level or Interior Floor Level

Working on my shed I've a height limit of 2.5 metres. Is this measured from the outside of the shed or from the floor inside the shed? I ask because there's a difference of about 3"

    Planning Permission or not?

Thanks both for the advice I think it might be the Housing Department, but I've been redirected so many times I'm not entirely sure. I'm going to see them face to face on Monday so hopefully I'll know more then

    Planning Permission or not?

This is starting to get frustrating I am building a 6m x 5x block shed in my back garden (rented property from council). It falls within the limitations bar one: it encroaches 5cm into the 2 metre boundary requirement. "Any part of the development within 2 metres of a boundary of the house...

    Defining the term "floor area"

If I do not need any planning permission from the Planning Permission or the Building Regulators department because my shed's dimensions and placement all fall within the permitted development criteria, do I have to pay a fee?

    Defining the term "floor area"

He didn't actually, I think that is a bit odd. Any reason as to why you knew he wouldn't, is there something I should be aware of?

    Defining the term "floor area"

Ah yes, thanks for clarifying that Planning permission measurements are all in line with what is permitted, apart from I've gone just less than 2 centremetres over in one respect (boundary limitations). I'm almost sure that's not going to be an issue though, because initial building plans meant...

    Defining the term "floor area"

Hi I was hoping someone might be able to clarify something for me. I'm currently building a block shed and it measures 5.79mts x 4.87mts (so 19 foot x 16 foot) This has a floor space of 28.19 metres squared However, now that the footings are in place, for some reason, having measured again...

Wooden shed but what about a brick shed?

I phoned planning permission and building regulations Building regulations said there's no fee and planning permission asked me to submit the new plans via email but they did say there shouldn't be a fee either

Wooden shed but what about a brick shed?

Also, does anyone know if there is a fee to pay?

Wooden shed but what about a brick shed?

I've had planning permission for a 20'x16' wooden shed, but I might have to go for a brick shed (same dimensions). Will I have to apply for planning permission because it's brick, more permanent? Thanks
