    Can anyone tell me how this weather strip works? As you can see it's in the middle of where the door shuts. On the side the door is supposed to shut to it has a soft sealing strip and the other side is hard plastic.

    Help bleeding pump

    I've done it thank god!! Been at it all night the problem was I never unscrewed the pump screw and pushed it aside enough to let the air out. Amazingly only a tiny amount of air came out but obviously enough to air lock it.

    My immersion heater element broke sometime ago and I never bothered to replace cause the boiler is a lot quicker. I currently use the immersion heater socket for my power shower with a low amp fuse in.

    Yep the valves do look like that. I suppose I should have guessed by the way the pump blew the RCD when either hot water or heating was put on :(
